Some people assume being a homemaker or personal care attendant is simple, but a lot goes into performing the job well and meeting the needs of the client. The role requires independence and an ability to keep oneself accountable. For this reason, a minimum of six months of experience, along with excellent references is required. An on-site interview will be required along with a completed orientation. Other certifications will need to be verified depending on the job being applied for.
